Porch Light is a fully offline-first app. We do not run any servers, and we do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, journaling entries, reflection history, or usage statistics to any third party or to ourselves.
All data, including your saved quotes, journal entries, and unlocked purchase status, is stored strictly locally on your device.
2. In-App Purchases
Our app processes in-app purchases using the official Google Play Billing and Apple App Store systems. Any transaction details, payment processing, or account credentials are managed securely by Google and Apple respectively, and are never shared with or accessible by this app.
3. Advertising & Third-Party Services
We use Google AdMob to display a single daily App Open advertisement during app launch for non-Pro users (frequency capped at a maximum of once per calendar day, and never shown on a user's first app open). Google AdMob may collect device information, IP addresses, and advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or IDFA) to serve ads, enforce frequency caps, and prevent fraud in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not operate any backend servers or use any third-party analytics trackers for personal user profiling. All your quotes, journal reflections, and personal preferences remain stored strictly locally on your device.
4. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app is fully offline-first, no children's data is ever gathered or transmitted.
